This is probably one of my favorite places that I have visited. It is Catalina Island and it is truly a great place to go and relax. Although the boat ride made me sick, I still enjoyed it since all you see is open ocean. The boat ride from Long Beach to Catalina is about a forty five minutes to an hour ride. The island is so small you can literally walk anywhere, or you can also rent golf carts if it is more convenient for you. This place has so many places to eat and drink. It also has a couple of tours that you can sign up for. My favorite celebrity also lived in this island for a while, Marilyn Monroe. I advise that to truly see the whole island to at least stay a weekend. Also, the boat ride is FREE on your birthday along with other cool things to do in the islands. The one great thing that I was able to do at Catalina was parasailing! It was one of the most incredible experiences I have had. Even if you are scared of heights I recommend it! Don't let your fears stop you from a great adventure! Enjoy the nice breeze with a drink and a nice walk on the island.

Being so close to the beach there is a must that you have to do and that is whale watching. I think it is an incredible experience to be out with nature. They are beautiful, breathtaking, and massive creatures totally worth seeing. You can always have good deals when going out to these places, some places even guarantee your money back if you see no whales! See, there is absolutely nothing to loose but so much to see. Ill also be posting a link from Groupon where you'll get a sweet deal. But hurry, the deal will not last forever. After whale watching enjoy the nice hot son, and go downtown for a sweet drink. This big mansion is located in the lovely Beverly Hills. Many people do not know about this place, so go visit and take cool pictures! Also, there have been several movies filmed in this mansions, AMAZING! It is now open to the public to venture in the surroundings of the mansion. It has a great view of L.A., and so many nice places to take pictures. This place is also great for a very nice picnic with friends or family. Although beware, there is crazy tourist bus drivers that are out to kill you, LOL not seriously, but the path is a little narrow and it could be dangerous with huge buses. This actually happened to us when I visited. Enjoy the amazing view from up here. Since a lot of times the inside is closed for the public, I will put a video down below so that you can see the cool stuff inside the mansion. Now, if you're really a Walt Disney fan, you must check this place out! It is something that you must plan in advance since it is only open once a month and the hours are very short. It is opened the third Sunday of every month and the hours are from 11-3 P.M. It is also completely free but you are more than welcomed to give donations. Parking is also provided and it is free if you are visiting. Disney apparently loved trains and he had them in his backyard. I will be posting a link so that you can read all about the juicy history this place has. It is a wonderful place to go. Click the link below to discover the rich history.I feel like I have said this several times during my blog but this is really a place that I enjoy going A LOT. It is one of my favorite places because I do not feel like I am the only loud one there, it is full of really energetic people, and the food/ice cream is AMAZING. When I went, I had The Talk of the Town, which is their most popular burger and trust me its great. If you really want to face a true dare, have their pickle shots! Trust me they are gross, but a cool thing to do! With your food you will have nice servers who will sing and give you a pleasant time at this place. You'll probably want to share their sundaes since they are HUGE, but then again, who's judging? Have the whole ice cream sundae for yourself! The Queen Mary is a Scottish classic, it was built in 1930 and she was destined to have great class and history of her own. After several sails, in October of 1967 was her last sail to her destination to Long Beach. Today, she is now a great hotel, restaurants, and events depending on the time of year you choose to go. The Queen Mary also offers different tours throughout the year so that you can experience the great adventure! In the video below I will post a video of how scary and great adventure it is to go visit this place in October during Halloween season. Enjoy this funny video from Ellen (: This place is thought to be one of the most beautiful places to go to in San Francisco. It is an art exhibition that was made to mimic the remains of the real Palace of Fine Arts. It is surrounded by a man made lagoon that surrounds the whole area. Since it is a very nice place to go, you might as well take advantage and have a fun photo shoot, picnic, or just a nice relaxing walk! Enjoy the beauty! This is probably a place that I have dreamed about going for a very long time already. When I was very young the thing that I would always love to have was gum. When I heard about this place it instantly made my bucket list. It is located in San Luis Obispo, it may sound a little gross at first but it actually can be seen as a cool history place. Also, how could this not be a cool place for kids to hangout in? This alley is HUGE. It is seventy feet long and fifteen feet high and it is believed to have started after WWII by a high school graduating class event.
Many of us enjoy those yummy chicken nuggets from McDonald's, but how cool would it be to actually go to the original McDonald's which is now a museum? Super amazing! It looks very cool from the outside and after going to the Bottle Museum why not stop by to see where McDonald's started? This place is also free to enter and is open from ten in the morning to five in the afternoon. Although it may sound like a really cool place be careful since it is rumored that it is not in the best area of town. There are also McDonald's historians that have a great amount of history about this place which will only make your experience even better!
This is a place you can go and spend the whole day at, literally! It is open from sunrise to sunset. It is also completely free for the public to enjoy but donations are always welcomed. This place is all trees that are made up of bottles, it is a great recycling ranch! You can also meet and talk to Elmer, who is the owner of the place, he is known to be very friendly and enjoys talking to people who enjoy his place. Many people from all over the world have heard about this place and actually travel to come see it.
